National Football League & Visa Have Expanded their Partnership Right before Super Bowl LIII

American multinational financial services corporation, Visa, who entered into a partnership deal with National Football League in 1995, recently revealed that they have extended their partnership deal with National Football League to be the league’s Official Payment Services Technology Partner through the 2025 season. The renewed multi-year sponsorship agreement covers added advantages for people who use Visa cards and attending NFL events. They are planning to team up on the first ever cashless Super Bowl in the near future. The news has surfaced before Visa introduced cashless & contactless experiences in payment to all the Super Bowl LIII fans located in Atlanta.

Visa’s Chief Communications & Marketing Officer, Lynne Biggar stated that in the recent years, their relationship with National Football League have improved, right from being a sponsor to a partner that offers priceless experiences of payment to fans. He further added, in the near future, they see a cashless option for National Football League fans, wherein events, which includes future Super Bowls, are digital developing effortless & reliable payment climate for fans.

Visa has offered new payment methods for over twenty-four years now. These methods are provided to improve the experience of the fans attending or watching National Football League events – be it in their house, stadium or even online. The latest deal’s goal is not just to retain experiences of payment, which fans trust, but now they plan to take it to the next level. The new deal includes, favored provider of payment throughout NFL events nationally which encompasses, NFL Draft, Super Bowl, globally games favored payment way for selling ticket, Pro Bowl, merchandise & concessions at NFL stores in all the big global league events. Extra advantage for the Visa card users, collaborating to ensure an electronic future for various NFL events, which includes Super Bowl.

National Football League’s Partnerships, Senior Vice President, Consumer Products & Sponsorship, Renie Anderson stated, that since the year 1995, Visa has been NFL’s trusted partner & they are happy to continue working with them, specifically where they have to apply digital capabilities at NFL events that will help to offer their fans rapid, secure & a convenient option of digital payment.

With a lot of people in the United States are opting for digital payments, National Football League & Visa will collaborate to introduce similar experience to upcoming Super Bowls. Super Bowl that accepts digital form of payments & cards will let the attendants to pay either with their card, wearable device, or their cell phones. To start the efforts, Super Bowl LIII will provide over thirty cashless concessionaires across the stadium.
