In its first home game of the season, the Lady Cardinals basketball team left it all on the floor, taking victory away from the Kewaskum Indians, with a final score of 56-50.
Cardinal post Syd Schulz, a senior, successfully netted 18 points; point guard Amber Schraufnagel, a junior, – 17; guard Whitney Liegl, a senior, was credited with scoring 10 points; three baskets each were made by guard Chloe Welak, a junior, guard Morgan Clark, a sophomore, and post Makayla Konrad, a sophomore.
Two points were scored by guard Alaina Wagner, a junior. Per Head Coach Liz Cook, the Cards were responsible for 18 field goals out of 31 attempts, with three pointers accomplished by Schraufnagel and Clark.
The team played an away game at Campbellsport on Tuesday and is scheduled to go up against Ripon on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
